Chimalhuacán implements economic and social support programs

The municipality of Chimalhuacán is implementing various social and economic initiatives aimed at supporting local families and entrepreneurs. Through the Economic and Employment Impulse Caravan, organized by the State of Mexico's Secretariat of Economic Development and the Mexiquense Entrepreneur Institute, local small businesses, artisans, and micro-enterprises are gaining access to training, labor connection, and financing options such as 'Crédito Colibrí' and 'Crédito Solidario'.

Simultaneously, the municipal government has distributed 7,000 food baskets over three days as part of the 'Transforming Food' program. This initiative provides essential goods to families in need to support nutrition and household economies. Mayor Xóchitl Flores Jiménez announced that the program aims to deliver a total of 12,000 baskets in 2026, with plans to expand the variety of products included in future distributions.
