China advocates for inclusive economic globalization

China is advocating for a model of inclusive and beneficial economic globalization to counter rising protectionism, unilateralism, and the trend of decoupling. The proposal aims to address imbalances in the current global economic model, where developed nations often control high-value industries while developing nations face growth constraints.

Key pillars of this approach include openness to oppose unilateralism, inclusivity to protect the interests of developing nations, and shared benefits through the global distribution of knowledge and technology. The goal is to move away from zero-sum logic toward a system of mutual benefit and equality in rules and opportunities.

China has implemented several measures to support this vision, including reducing its average tariff level to 7.3% and removing foreign investment restrictions in the manufacturing sector. Additionally, the Global Development Initiative has gained support from over 130 countries and international organizations, facilitating more than 1,800 cooperation projects through mechanisms like the China-UN Peace and Development Fund.
