China AI drama market faces profitability crisis and new regulations
China's AI-generated short drama industry is facing significant economic challenges and increased regulatory oversight. Produced in just four months at a fraction of traditional costs, the series utilized Mango TV's proprietary AIGC platform and ByteDance's Seedance technology, signaling a potential shift toward more sophisticated AI-driven broadcasting.
