China Airlines to increase Taipei-Melbourne flight frequency

China Airlines is expanding its service to Australia, increasing its flight frequency from Taipei to Melbourne from four to five weekly flights starting October 28.

Operating the Airbus A350-900, the airline’s business class features a 1-2-1 staggered configuration. The carrier is a member of the SkyTeam alliance and maintains a codeshare partnership with Qantas, allowing passengers to earn Qantas points and status credits. Business class passengers are permitted two checked bags of up to 32 kilograms each, along with two carry-on bags and a personal item.
