China and Malaysia emphasize strategic cooperation and shared future
China and Malaysia are focusing on strengthening strategic cooperation and building a high-standard strategic community with a shared future. During a regular press conference, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Guo Jiakong highlighted that the two nations have maintained positive bilateral relations for over 50 years.
China aims to align development strategies with Malaysia and advance high-quality cooperation under the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’. To further these ties, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will attend the opening ceremonies of the 48th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai and the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou at China's invitation.
