China and UAE expand trade through women-led business delegations
A high-level delegation of 15 prominent Chinese women entrepreneurs conducted a two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates to strengthen economic ties and explore investment opportunities. Organized by the General Women’s Union in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Beijing, the mission aimed to foster long-term business alliances and strategic collaboration between the two nations.
The delegation represents businesses and associations with a combined annual turnover of approximately 4.85 billion yuan. Key sectors of interest include industry, hospitality, food security, biotechnology, infrastructure, new energy, smart lighting, and investment services.
In Ajman, the Ajman Business Women Council and the Ajman Chamber hosted the delegation to present local economic opportunities. Discussions focused on Ajman’s strategic location and sectors such as trade, real estate, construction, and tourism. The initiative aligns with broader efforts to empower women in leadership and increase their economic presence internationally.
