China-Arab dialogue on China studies held in Cairo

The “World Dialogue on China Studies: Arab States Session” took place in Cairo, gathering approximately 140 officials, experts, and academics from China and the Arab world. Participants highlighted the flourishing relationship between China and Arab nations as a model of solidarity among developing countries.

Key discussions focused on deepening cultural and people-to-people exchanges to build a “China-Arab community with a shared future.” Academic leaders called for increased research into governance experiences and the development of knowledge systems that reflect diverse forms of modernity.

Furthermore, the session emphasized high-quality cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative and the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative. Participants also identified the need for collaborative research on global governance issues, including artificial intelligence, food security, and climate change, to strengthen the representation of developing nations in international affairs.
