China celebrates 77th anniversary with diplomatic receptions in Burkina Faso and Mali

Embassies of the People's Republic of China in Burkina Faso and Mali held official receptions to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

In Ouagadougou, Ambassador Zhao Deyong highlighted China's developmental milestones, including the eradication of absolute poverty and the achievement of rapid economic growth. He noted that China's GDP grew by 4.7% in the first half of the year, driven by high-end manufacturing, the digital economy, and modern services. The Ambassador expressed China's readiness to contribute to global governance and international development.

In Bamako, the Chinese Embassy hosted a ceremony attended by Malian government ministers, including the Minister of Industry and Commerce and the Minister of National Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Vocational Training. The event emphasized the strength of the partnership between Mali and China, focusing on mutual respect and shared interests through cooperation between the two nations.
