China dominates Bahrain in Asian Games men's basketball
In men's basketball at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, China secured its second consecutive victory with a 105-59 win over Bahrain. China established an early lead, building a 32-11 advantage in the first quarter. Despite Bahrain outscoring China in the second period, the Chinese team regained control in the second half. Liao Sanning led China with 23 points, while Li Yuezhou contributed 18 points.
In other preliminary round action, Iran defeated Chinese Taipei 72-69. Although Chen Ying-Chun scored 29 points for Chinese Taipei, Iran's Mohammad Jamshidi led his team with 18 points to secure the three-point win. Additionally, Jordan defeated Qatar 76-65, led by Perrin Buford's 20 points, and the Philippines defeated Kazakhstan 109-78.
