China emphasizes political responsibility in party governance

Key focus areas include establishing a comprehensive responsibility chain that links party committees, discipline inspection commissions, and individual leaders. A significant emphasis is placed on the ‘key minority,’ specifically the responsibility of top leaders to ensure accountability and prevent the dilution of political standards.

In the military sector, there is a parallel push to institutionalize work style improvements to ensure the People's Liberation Army maintains its combat effectiveness and political integrity. This involves addressing issues such as formalism and bureaucracy to ensure that military readiness and political loyalty remain central to the armed forces' mission.
