China emphasizes public supervision and honors revolutionary soldiers

Chinese leadership has emphasized the importance of integrating mass and public opinion supervision with internal Party oversight. Highlighting the role of these mechanisms as ‘outposts’ for early warning, officials noted that such supervision helps identify issues like corruption and inefficiency at the grassroots level, preventing small problems from becoming systemic risks.

To strengthen this framework, authorities aim to improve transparency, expand reporting channels, and ensure that information from the public is effectively channeled into official disciplinary processes. The goal is to create a coordinated supervision network that supports modern national governance and ensures power is exercised for the public good.

In a separate development, the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Military Commission Political Work Department jointly announced 12 ‘Most Beautiful New Era Revolutionary Soldiers.’ These individuals, representing various roles from combat specialists to researchers and technical experts, were recognized for their loyalty to the Party and their contributions toward the goal of building a strong military by the centenary of the People's Liberation Army.
