China expands bilateral engagement with Morocco and Mali

China is engaging in bilateral diplomatic and cultural activities with Morocco and Mali to strengthen strategic partnerships.

In Rabat, the Chinese Embassy and the Elite Marocaine des Jeunes Leaders (EMJL) hosted a youth dialogue. The event focused on economic and social development, youth issues, and the evolving global order. Chinese Ambassador Yu Jinsong emphasized the role of youth in bringing the two nations closer and called for increased mutual understanding to bolster the strategic partnership between Rabat and Beijing.

In Mali, Chinese Ambassador Li Xiang met with the Haute Autorité de la Communication (HAC) to discuss cooperation in media and regulation. Discussions included technical support for Mali’s Media Monitoring and Control Center to expand its national coverage. Ambassador Li expressed China’s willingness to provide technical and human capacity building, with potential future partnerships involving the CGTN international network.
