China focuses on agricultural production and industrial growth

Chinese officials are emphasizing agricultural stability and industrial growth through regional inspections and ministerial cooperation. In Yantai, Mayor Zhang Mingkang conducted research in Muping District, focusing on autumn harvests and the gold industry. He visited the Yantai Litian Agricultural Machinery Cooperative to oversee grain production and urged the scientific scheduling of machinery to ensure successful harvests. Additionally, he visited Hengbang Smelting Co., Ltd. to encourage technological innovation and increased capacity in mineral resource utilization.

Separately, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held talks with the Shanxi Provincial Government to advance rural modernization. Minister Zhang Zhu and Shanxi Governor Lu Dongliang discussed strategies for food security, high-standard farmland construction, and the development of dryland agriculture. The meeting focused on promoting deep processing of agricultural products, implementing water and fertilizer integration technologies, and preventing large-scale poverty regression through enhanced rural industry development.
