China hosts international journalism program in Beijing

The second annual session of the China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) commenced in Beijing, bringing together 109 journalists from 101 different countries. Orchestrated by the China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA), the program serves as a platform for media professionals to undergo training and immersion to better understand China’s rapid transformations and explore increased cooperation between Chinese and international media outlets.

Participants, including representatives from African nations, aim to observe and report on China’s development as a global model. The initiative focuses on the intersection of media and technology, addressing how the digital wave is transforming the industry. Similar training programs, such as those organized by the China Broadcasting International Economic and Technical Cooperation (CBIC), have also facilitated immersion for media leaders to strengthen bilateral exchanges and share expertise in the digital era.
