China implements fiscal and financial policies to boost domestic demand

China is implementing a series of optimized fiscal and financial policies designed to stimulate domestic demand and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Key measures include increasing the annual limit for interest subsidies for SMEs from 50 million yuan to 75 million yuan and expanding the scope of coverage to include new working capital loans for private enterprises.

These subsidies aim to reduce financing costs for businesses, such as manufacturing firms in Hunan that utilize these funds for capacity expansion and technological R&D. Additionally, the policy extends to consumer spending, offering interest subsidies for large-scale purchases including automobiles, home renovations, and household appliances. The annual subsidy cap for individuals has been raised from 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan.

In related economic developments, the State Council's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission is scheduled to hold a press conference regarding the implementation of the ‘15th Five-Year Plan’ and the high-quality development of central enterprises. Furthermore, the National Bureau of Statistics is set to release industrial enterprise profit data for the period of January to August.
