China International Import Expo enters final preparations for 9th edition

Preparations are entering the final stages for the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), with 50 days remaining until the event begins. More than 2,000 companies from over 100 countries and regions have confirmed participation, including over 280 Fortune Global 500 firms. The total exhibition area is expected to exceed 400,000 square meters.

Canada will serve as the Guest Country of Honor for the second time, and the event will feature new debuts from Moldova, Romania, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The medical and healthcare sector is expected to be a major highlight, with several global pharmaceutical and medical technology leaders showcasing innovations. Boehringer Ingelheim plans to present 10 innovative products and solutions, while Medtronic will exhibit approximately 120 products, including several first-time displays in the Asia-Pacific region. Sanofi will debut a global first for a JAK/ROCK inhibitor, and AstraZeneca intends to showcase various innovative therapies, continuing its long-term investment strategy in the Chinese market.
