China Masters 2026 badminton tournament to be held in Shenzhen

The BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament, the China Masters 2026, is scheduled to take place from September 1 to 6 at the Shenzhen Arena in China. The event features a total prize pool of USD 1.25 million.

German players Marvin Seidel and Thuc Nguyen will face a challenging opening round against Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje. Yvonne Li is also competing in women’s singles against Canada’s Michelle Li, and will participate in women’s doubles alongside American Iris Wang.

Indian athletes, including Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth, are set to compete in various singles and doubles categories. The tournament serves as a significant event following the BWF World Championships and preceding the Asian Games.
