China Media Group announces 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala lineup

China Media Group (CMG) has released the program lineup for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala. The event will be held in Huainan, Anhui Province, following an artistic theme of “beauty, sincerity, lyricism, and romance.”

The gala is structured into three chapters: “Moon Tour,” “Embracing the Stars,” and “Radiant Autumn.” It features approximately 30 programs designed to blend ancient civilization with modern technology, connecting historical memories with future visions while showcasing national prosperity.

The broadcast is scheduled for September 25 at 8:00 PM. It will be available on various channels including CCTV-1, CCTV-3, CCTV-4, CCTV-15, as well as 4K and 8K Ultra HD channels. Digital distribution will extend to CCTV News, CCTV Video, and CCTV.com, alongside international social media platforms and mainstream media in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Colombia.
