China outlines four principles for peace and stability in Africa

Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai, has outlined four principles proposed by President Xi Jinping to address hotspot issues and promote lasting peace and stability across Africa.

The principles include upholding African leadership, safeguarding equity and justice, ceasing hostilities to build peace, and addressing both the symptoms and root causes of conflicts.

According to the Ambassador, these guidelines emphasize that African nations and organizations, such as the African Union, should play a central role in regional affairs. The approach supports Pan-Africanism and the continent's ability to independently safeguard its own security and development through self-reliance and local wisdom.
