China Surpasses US in Global Favorability, Pew Survey Shows

A Pew Research Center poll of 42,000 adults in 36 countries finds that China now enjoys a more favorable image than the United States in 25 nations, a reversal from earlier years. The survey notes a sharp decline in U.S. favorability, especially in Canada, Mexico, and several European countries, while China’s standing has risen in Latin America, Africa and parts of Asia.
