China robotics market sees surge in robot vacuum and humanoid shipments forecast for 2026

Data released by Loto Technology shows that in May 2026 China's online robot‑vacuum market sold 56.2 thousand units, generating 1.84 billion yuan in revenue, a year‑over‑year decline but a month‑over‑month rise. Ecovacs led the segment with a 37.2 % share, followed by Stone (30 %) and Trifo (11.9 %).

Morgan Stanley has upgraded its outlook for China's humanoid‑robot market, projecting 2026 shipments of 50 thousand units and a market size of $2 billion, nearly double its earlier estimate. The firm expects the sector to reach $15 billion by 2030, driven by policy support and industrial deployment. Both reports highlight rapid growth and increasing concentration among leading Chinese manufacturers in the broader robotics industry.
