China Textile City Group launches textile hub in Italy

China Textile City Group has inaugurated ‘The Loom’, a new textile hub located at the Interporto Marche in Jesi, Italy. The facility is designed to create a direct link between the Marche region and Keqiao, Zhejiang, which is Asia’s largest textile distribution center.

The hub serves as a research and experimentation laboratory for designers, style offices, and buyers. It focuses on technical and functional fabrics, as well as environmentally sustainable solutions. The initiative aims to facilitate B2B meetings, partner selection, and co-design processes.

By connecting the Jesi intermodal platform, local ports, and airports directly to Keqiao, the project is expected to reduce the transit time for Chinese textiles to Italy by at least six days. The project follows a regional mission to China conducted by the Marche Region in May, aimed at strengthening international economic ties.
