China to announce August LPR interest rates

China is scheduled to announce its August Loan Prime Rate (LPR), covering one-year and five-year or longer terms, on August 20.

Additionally, the Ministry of Commerce will hold a press conference to discuss recent key developments in the commercial sector. In the capital markets, several companies are facing share lock-up expirations, with a total market value of approximately 1.133 billion yuan being released. Meanwhile, 25 companies have reported progress regarding stock buybacks, including major plans from firms such as Hengrui Medicine.

On the international front, upcoming economic data includes the U.S. Conference Board Leading Economic Index for July and Germany's June construction output annual rate.
