China sets dates for 2026 World Internet Digital Silk Road Forum and World Robot Conference

The World Internet Conference will host the Digital Silk Road Development Forum in Xi'an on July 21‑22, 2026. The forum, organized by the conference and the Shaanxi provincial government, will focus on topics such as Silk Road e‑commerce, AI‑driven digital trade, smart‑era cultural heritage protection and digital health, and will include a minister‑level meeting and a digital‑heritage salon with the WIPO China office.

The World Robot Conference is scheduled for August 19‑23, 2026 in Beijing’s Economic and Technological Development Zone. Under the theme “Human‑Machine Co‑existence, Production‑Demand Integration,” the event will feature over 300 exhibitors, more than 2,000 exhibits and 150 new product launches, as well as a global robot‑application exploration program and the formation of a central‑enterprise robot innovation alliance announced by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The conference will also host the World Robot Competition finals with participants from over 20 countries.
