By 2030, the country aims to establish a comprehensive framework for a modern financial system with Chinese characteristics. Key objectives include optimizing the financial system structure, ensuring effective regulatory coordination, and improving the efficiency of risk prevention and control. The plan also seeks to increase the international competitiveness and influence of China’s financial sector while expanding high-standard financial opening up.

Looking further ahead, the initiative aims to create a highly adaptive, competitive, and inclusive modern financial system by 2035. Core tasks involve improving macro-regulation, serving the real economy more effectively, and developing a comprehensive legal framework for the sector.
