ChinaJoy draws JD.com showcase and new single-player game exhibition in Shanghai

On July 31 the 23rd China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition (ChinaJoy) opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. JD.com’s 3C digital booth in the Snapdragon‑themed hall attracted large crowds, gathering more than ten brands such as Honor, Xiaomi, vivo, OPPO, Samsung, iQOO, OnePlus and Red Magic. Visitors tried a full range of gaming gear—smartphones, tablets, keyboards—and AI products like the Honor Robot Phone and pocket AI trainers. Highlights included live music, a 3D‑printing workshop, a cosplay photography zone and a Valorant water‑friend tournament. New flagship devices including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Xiaomi Note 17, OPPO Find N6 and others were demonstrated, with many attendees noting the smooth frame‑rate performance.

Two days earlier, on July 29, the “New Story: China Single‑player Game Exhibition” opened, co‑hosted by the China Audio and Digital Publishing Association’s Game Museum and the Shanghai Bund Indigo Hotel. Ao Ran, deputy director‑general and secretary‑general of the Association, spoke about the sector’s 2025 sales of ¥350.8 billion and the cultural impact of titles such as “Black Myth: Wukong” and “Genshin Impact”. He emphasized the museum’s role in preserving game history and the exhibition’s purpose to showcase three decades of domestic single‑player game development, drive technological innovation and expand the industry’s IP value.
