China's AI Talent Race Accelerates as Tech Giants Recruit Early

China is rapidly expanding its artificial‑intelligence talent pool, outpacing the United States in several key metrics. By 2025 Chinese universities are projected to graduate about 77,000 STEM doctors, roughly double the 40,000 produced by U.S. institutions, and the country now hosts 13 universities among the world’s top‑100, with 222 in the top‑1,000.
