China's Communist Party issues new volumes on Xi Jinping's party‑building doctrine and correct historical view

The Central Party History and Documentation Research Institute has published the two‑volume set “Xi Jinping Party‑building Selected Works”, covering 102 writings by Xi Jinping from November 2012 to February 2026. The books are presented as an authoritative textbook for party members, cadres and the public to study and implement Xi’s party‑building thought, which stresses strict party discipline, the “four comprehensives” strategy and the “fourteen坚持” principles.

The publications also reinforce the concept of a “correct historical view” that Xi has promoted since the 18th Party Congress. This perspective calls for a Marxist‑based, people‑centred approach to Chinese Communist Party history, countering historical nihilism and fragmented scholarship. Key milestones cited include the 2010 national party‑history work conference, the 2013 Politburo study that elevated party‑history education to a compulsory course, and the 2021 mobilisation conference that systematized the correct historical view.
