China's Long March 10B rocket launch window set for July 10‑13

China's aerospace agency has locked a launch window for the Long March 10B reusable cargo rocket between July 10 and July 13 at the Wenchang Commercial Spaceport. The flight will test a world‑first “sea‑net recovery” system that captures the rocket’s first stage with a flexible net deployed from the recovery vessel Ling‑dao‑zhe (a 2.5‑million‑ton DP‑positioning platform).

The Long March 10B is a two‑stage, partially reusable launcher derived from the crewed Long March 10. It is intended for low‑orbit satellite‑internet constellations, large commercial satellites and future deep‑space cargo missions. The vehicle features seven parallel YF‑100K engines, a liquid‑oxygen/methane second stage and a sub‑orbital recovery configuration without landing legs, relying on the sea‑net capture to validate key technologies for China’s planned lunar landing program.
