Chincha: Wife of event promoter Rospigliosi assassinated

Gloria Rossana Félix Carbajal, the 59-year-old wife of event promoter from Empresa Rospigliosi, was assassinated in Chincha, Peru. The attack occurred at the Campo Ferial on San Luis Street in the El Tigre center, where she was coordinating the installation of mechanical rides for the upcoming Chincha anniversary celebrations.

Two assailants on a motorcycle, described as wearing a white hood and a red jacket, approached the victim and opened fire. Medical reports indicate she sustained four gunshot wounds to her leg, thorax, and abdomen. Although local security personnel and neighbors attempted to rush her to Hospital San José, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Police sources suggest the motive for the killing is extortion. This incident follows a previous attack in April of this year, when unidentified individuals shot at the Rospigliosi family home while family members were inside. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage and collecting evidence to identify the perpetrators.
