Chindia Târgoviște loses 2-3 to Concordia Chiajna in pre‑season friendly

Chindia Târgoviște presented its squad for the 2026‑2027 Liga II season in a friendly match at the Eugen Popescu stadium, but were beaten 2‑3 by Concordia Chiajna. Daniel Celea scored for Chindia before halftime, and Rareș Mihai added a second‑half goal, while a red card was shown to Briceag in the 67th minute.

Concordia took an early lead, finishing the first half up 3‑1, with goals from Robert Ion, Nicolae Carnat and an own‑goal by Celea. The match also served to introduce new loanee midfielder Cristian Licsandru, joining Concordia from Dinamo on a season‑long loan. Concordia’s next friendly will be against Metaloglobus București.
