Chinese AI companies raise multi‑hundred‑million‑yuan B‑round funding

Beijing‑based tactile‑sensor specialist HeShan Technology announced the completion of a multi‑hundred‑million‑yuan Series B financing round. Investors include Juneng Electronics, TaiPing Innovation, Aux, Pengling Co., Lavender Hill Capital Partners, Hongshan Capital and existing backers such as Dowson Technology and Binfu Capital. The funds will support further development of AI‑enabled tactile sensors and chips, deployment of scenario‑specific solutions and expansion of its tactile training platform. HeShan holds over 80% of the market share for humanoid‑robot tactile perception, reported revenue exceeding 1 billion yuan in 2024 and counts BYD, Nvidia and more than 100 robot manufacturers among its customers.

Physical‑AI firm DeepCtrls also closed a multi‑hundred‑million‑yuan Series B round, led by Jinko Solar with participation from Guotou Innovation, CMB International and existing investors such as Sequoia China and Source Code Capital. The capital will fund its PhyAI engine, scaling of the DeepBot product line and expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. DeepCtrls provides AI‑driven control for complex energy‑intensive systems and has served over 360 leading enterprises including TSMC, Tencent, ByteDance and CATL, positioning it as a global “brain” for energy infrastructure.
