Chinese AI startups Coolqq Tech and Zhuizhi Gongke secure multi‑million yuan seed funding
Coolqq Tech, an AI‑driven character‑engine hardware firm founded by former SenseTime employee Xu Chiheng, announced a seed round of several tens of millions of yuan. Lead investor was the Shanghai Pudong AI Seed Fund, with participation from SenseTime, Zero One Capital, and Spruce Capital. The company’s flagship product, CookiePi, combines small physical devices with an AI role engine that evolves through user interaction.
Zhuizhi Gongke, a Shanghai‑based industrial‑AI startup spun out of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, also closed a seed round worth several tens of millions of yuan. Investors included L2F Light Source Entrepreneurs Fund, Shangrong Capital and Yicun Capital. The firm focuses on domain‑specific industrial agents for material‑processing stages such as grinding and welding, aiming to improve automation and reduce reliance on skilled labor.
Both companies plan to use the capital for product development, team expansion and market rollout, reflecting growing investor interest in AI applications across consumer and manufacturing sectors in China.
