Brazil July 2026 car sales hit record as Chinese brands capture 22.8% market share
In July 2026 Brazil registered 265,148 new vehicles, a 2.1% rise from the previous month. Chinese‑branded models accounted for 60,486 units, giving them a record 22.8% share of the market. BYD’s Dolphin Mini led the electric segment with 7,265 units sold, ranking sixth overall and becoming the first electric car in the top‑10.
