Chinese automakers Li Auto and DFSK launch new family vehicle models

Chinese automotive manufacturers are expanding their vehicle lineups with new models focusing on family comfort and diverse energy solutions.

Li Auto is preparing to launch the i9, a large-scale vehicle designed for family comfort. To address previous customer dissatisfaction regarding battery brand selection, the company has decided that buyers will no longer choose between battery suppliers like CATL or Sunwoda. Instead, Li Auto plans to transition toward developing its own battery modules, utilizing mass production from Sunwoda and CALB in the medium term.

In Argentina, DFSK has introduced a new seven-passenger hybrid SUV at its dealership in Pilar. The model aims to provide fuel efficiency and interior space for large families and local entrepreneurs in the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires. While specific pricing and local availability have not yet been disclosed, the launch represents a push toward more sustainable transport options in the region.
