Chinese automakers Omoda/Jaecoo and Xpeng launch new hybrid and electric models in Greece

Omoda/Jaecoo, represented in Greece by the Emil Frey group (which also handles Mercedes‑Benz and smart), is expanding its model range. Current offerings include the Omoda 5 full‑hybrid and electric versions, the plug‑in hybrid Omoda 9 SHS‑P and Jaecoo 7 SHS‑P. Upcoming models slated for later this year are fully hybrid Jaecoo 5 SHS‑H, Jaecoo 7 SHS‑H, fully electric Jaecoo 5 EV, plus the plug‑in hybrid Jaecoo 8 PHEV and Omoda 4 SHS‑H. The brand’s Super Hybrid technology provides 7‑year mechanical and 8‑year battery warranties with free roadside assistance. Test runs recorded the Omoda 5 SHS‑H achieving nearly 1,000 km on a single tank and the Jaecoo 7 SHS‑P surpassing 1,200 km, while the plug‑in hybrid Jaecoo 7 SHS‑P covered 1,504 km in Greece without refuelling.

Xpeng has also entered the Greek market with its electric fastback P7+. The model offers a rear‑wheel‑drive version (245 hp, 61.7 kWh battery, up to 455 km range) and a higher‑output rear‑wheel version (313 hp, 74.9 kWh, up to 530 km). An all‑wheel‑drive variant delivers 503 hp. Its 800 V architecture enables charging from 10 % to 80 % in 12 minutes. Pricing starts at €45,990, reduced to €40,990 after a €2,000 promotional discount and a €3,000 state rebate.
