Chinese cycling brands expand presence in professional pelotons

Chinese bicycle manufacturers are increasing their visibility within professional cycling through new high-level partnerships. Pardus has reached an agreement to supply the French team TotalEnergies starting in 2027. The three-season deal includes the team’s development structures, Vendée U-Primeo Energie and CREF, with riders utilizing models such as the SPK EVO G4 and ROBIN EVO G3 for road racing and the GOMERA EVO for time trials.

In the WorldTour, XDS continues its partnership with Astana, recently announcing the signing of Greek national road champion Nikiforos Arvanitou. Arvanitou will join the XDS-Astana main roster for the 2027 and 2028 seasons following a successful period as a stagiaire. These moves follow a growing trend of Chinese brands, including Quick Pro with Euskaltel-Euskadi, securing prominent roles in international professional cycling.
