Chinese delegation visits Balneário Camboriú sanitation facilities

A delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs and sanitation specialists visited the Nova Esperança Sewage Treatment Plant (ETE) in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil. The technical visit, organized by the Municipal Water and Sanitation Company (Emasa), focused on evaluating local infrastructure and discussing potential technological exchanges and strategic partnerships.

During the visit, the group inspected ongoing works for a new preliminary treatment system, aeration lagoons, and decanter tanks. Emasa president Auri Pavoni highlighted the opportunity to present modernization plans, including the implementation of a new treatment plant designed to replace current lagoons with more advanced tank technologies. The delegation's expertise is expected to contribute to the municipality's future sanitation infrastructure projects.
