Chinese PhD faces allegations of academic fraud and professional misconduct

A Chinese female PhD holder is facing intense social media scrutiny following allegations from her former partner that she engaged in academic and professional misconduct. The woman, an alumna of Wuhan University who completed her doctorate at the Institute of Automation under the University of Science and Technology of China, reportedly earns an annual salary of 2 to 3 million NDT at a major corporation.

The former partner, identified as a PhD student at Tsinghua University, claims he authored four international conference papers on her behalf during her doctoral studies. Furthermore, he alleges that he continued to assist her with complex technical tasks in her professional role after graduation.

The controversy is compounded by personal allegations involving infidelity and financial support. The former partner reportedly spent approximately 10 million NDT on a home in Beijing for their future, while the woman is accused of having multiple extramarital affairs.
