Chinese quantum tech startups secure major funding rounds

Shanghai‑based Quantum Intelligence Sensing raised an angel round of several tens of millions of yuan, led by Fortera Capita with participation from Liuhe Capital. The funding will support development of quantum‑sensing products, quantum AI research and commercialisation. Founded in September 2023 and incubated at Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s quantum‑sensing institute, the company already offers quantum gyroscopes and gas‑detection devices for power‑grid and aerospace applications and expects 2025 sales to exceed 1,000 万元.

Separately, the Chinese startup Yaozheng Quantum completed a multi‑hundred‑million‑yuan Series A round. The round was led by DeepTech Ventures and co‑invested by the Shenzhen Social Security Fund, Shenzhen Innovation Capital and a range of other venture firms. Proceeds will accelerate R&D aimed at achieving quantum advantage and error‑correction, strengthening the company’s full‑stack QCCD technology platform.
