In football, the women's team secured a 1-0 victory over Thailand thanks to a 77th-minute long-range goal by Tanaka Maha, moving them closer to the quarter-finals. In volleyball, the women's team achieved a dominant 3-0 sweep against Kyrgyzstan in their opening match.

Basketball saw the men's team exit the competition in the quarter-finals after an 85-78 loss to host nation Japan. Lin Ting-chien scored 19 points in the match, but the team struggled to maintain momentum after falling behind early.
