Chintamani MLA M. C. Sudhakar accused of corruption and anti-Dalit policies

Former Assembly Deputy Speaker and MLA J. K. Krishnareddy has leveled serious allegations against former Higher Education Minister and Chintamani MLA Dr. M. C. Sudhakar. During a press conference, Krishnareddy accused Sudhakar of pursuing anti-Dalit policies throughout his 50-year political career.

Krishnareddy specifically alleged that Sudhakar used political influence to pressure the Chikkaballapur District Collector to facilitate the transfer of highly prestigious land in Chintamani, valued at approximately 50 crore rupees, to a private entity. He further claimed that Sudhakar received roughly 25 crore rupees in connection with this transaction.

The allegations suggest that local officials, including the District Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Tahsildar, were involved in the rapid processing of these files. Additionally, Krishnareddy criticized the handling of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Anubhava Bhavan, noting that only an inauguration plaque was installed rather than a foundation stone, which he attributed to political maneuvering for credit.
