Chioggia Hospital records five births in five hours
Five children were born within a span of five hours and 21 minutes at the hospital in Chioggia, Italy, during the night of September 10 and the early morning of September 11. All five births were natural, and both the mothers and infants are reported to be in good health.
The sequence of births began at 10:25 PM with Giorgio, followed by Irene at 12:51 AM, Denis Gabriel at 2:19 AM, Sofia at 3:29 AM, and Gazhal at 3:46 AM. The final two births occurred only 17 minutes apart.
Massimo Zuin, the general director of the Venetian health authority, praised the obstetrics and pediatrics teams for their work during this intense period. Mauro Armelao, the Mayor of Chioggia, also expressed pride in the new citizens and the hospital's birth center.
