Chipiona, Spain sees senior travel launch and August beach club concert series

The municipality of Mijas has opened registration for its annual senior‑travel trip to the Cádiz coast, with Chipiona as the main destination. Up to 1,600 places are available; applications must be submitted by 14 August and cost €6.50 per person. Participants need a senior‑centre card and a national ID, and a lottery will allocate spots if demand exceeds supply. The trip is scheduled for the second half of October.

Meanwhile, Chipiona’s AWA Beach Club has announced a full programme of live‑music performances for August. Shows run each evening from 18:00, featuring acts such as Los Mantekas, María José Lunar, Juanlu de Castro, Atrevidos, Las Kalí, Malakay, Bella de Sousa, El Trompo, Los Viaandantes, Farejos, Sones Nuevos and Punto y Aparte, with the schedule extending into early September.
