Chipotle announces limited-time return of mesquite-smoked brisket

Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its mesquite-smoked brisket to restaurants across the United States and Canada starting November 5. The protein is prepared by smoking it over mesquite wood for several hours before it is seared, seasoned, sauced, and hand-chopped in small batches.

The company stated that the brisket is made with beef that meets its Responsibly Raised standards, which the brand estimates applies to approximately 5% of U.S. beef. These standards include requirements for a strictly vegetarian diet and the absence of added growth hormones or routine antibiotics.

To coincide with the launch, Chipotle is offering $0 delivery fees on Smoked Brisket orders placed through its app or website from November 5 through November 18.
