Chipotle Mexican Grill to open first Kelowna restaurant on Sept. 30
Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to open its first restaurant in the British Columbia Interior on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The new location will be situated at 150-1950 Harvey Ave. in Kelowna.
This expansion marks the company’s 24th location in British Columbia and is expected to create approximately 30 local jobs. Managing director Anat Davidzon stated that the Kelowna opening brings the brand closer to residents, students, and visitors in the Okanagan Valley.
To celebrate the opening, the company announced that the first 100 guests to purchase an entree will receive a complimentary Chipotle-branded speaker. The restaurant will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
