Chisako Takashima recounts confrontation with elderly man at birthday party

Violinist and television personality Chisako Takashima shared an incident on the TV Asahi program ‘Zawaつく! Friday’ involving a confrontation with an elderly man during a recent birthday celebration. Takashima stated that while she was enjoying a gathering with two female friends, an unknown man sitting nearby interrupted their conversation.

The man reportedly insulted Takashima’s friends, telling them their skin was ‘dry’ (kasakasa) compared to his own. Takashima described the man’s behavior as disrespectful and noted that he appeared to intentionally misidentify her by name before correcting himself. When Takashima confronted him regarding his rudeness, the man left the scene.

Following the encounter, Takashima learned from those present that the man was an 84-year-old founder of a specific company. Takashima expressed her frustration with the man’s behavior and his age being used as an excuse for his conduct, emphasizing that respect should be maintained regardless of seniority.
