Chisinau to build new 100‑shop pavilion at Central Market

The Chisinau Municipal Council approved a redevelopment project for the Angro sector of the Central Market. A new pavilion will be constructed at the entrance on Mitropolit Varlaam Street, providing 100 commercial spaces to replace the existing metal stalls. The interim director of the municipal enterprise, Vasile, confirmed the plan as part of the city’s broader modernization efforts.

The construction aims to improve market facilities and boost local commerce in the capital.
