Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute and Central Institute of Classical Tamil launch 2026 recruitment drives

The Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata has issued a recruitment notice for 44 apprenticeship positions across roles such as Deputy Duty Manager, Medical Laboratory Technician, Patient Counsellor and Frontline Healthcare Associate. Stipends range from ₹8,200 to ₹12,300 per month and applications must be submitted online through the NAPS portal by 3 August 2026.

The Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) in Chennai released a separate notification for six associate‑professor posts covering linguistics, language education, art & architecture, manuscriptology, translation and lexicography. Candidates must hold a master’s degree with at least 55 % marks and a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Applications are to be sent offline by 26 August 2026, with a fee of ₹500 (₹250 for reserved categories).
