Chiu Kuang-ming announces retirement from Hualien County Council

Hualien County Councilor Chiu Kuang-ming has announced his decision not to seek re-election, marking his retirement from active political office after 20 years of local service.

Chiu, who began his career as a representative for Xincheng Township before serving as township chairman and subsequently holding two terms as a Hualien County Councilor, stated that his decision follows careful evaluation.
